I think I am losing my mind. I get little glimpses every now and then, but can usually deny it. Last night, it became crystal clear - I am crazy. I am well aware that my food cravings are not normal. Most people might "get in the mood" for a particular snack, but when I get something on the brain, I HAVE to have it. So last night, after we had all gone to sleep, I stayed up in bed reading. And the thought popped into my head "Doesn't a lemon sound good?" (Still squashing pregnancy rumors - this is just me.) I had half a lemon left over from cleaning the microwave earlier in the day. Any sane person would have thought "No, it doesn't. It's midnight. Eat chocolate like a normal person." Or maybe even "That does sound good, but you're already in bed. Go to sleep." But not I! I sat and battled with my brain as my salivary glands practically exploded in my mouth. So finally, I gave in to my demon and there I stood, in the pitch dark kitchen, at midnight, eating a lemon over the kitchen sink. And it hit me - I have crossed the line into crazy town. And my brain argued back, "This is nothing - remember when you WERE pregnant and you drank Worcestershire sauce right from the bottle?"

Lol! You're not crazy, it is only your mind playing tricks on you. What normal person doesn't get up in the middle of the night to quench the need to eat?
LOL...that's too funny! And, a lemon? Are you pregnant? The thought of eating that is making my mouth water and my eyes tear up!

You are hilarious lady! I admit that I like to eat lemons also, with a spoon....but not at midnight Crazy!!!
I need to look into the lemon at midnight thing... the things I eat in the middle of te night usually leave a mark on my butt... a stretch mark! I think Lemons would be much safer!
And then there's Crazy by Patsy Cline. I love lemons! It's almost 10 pm here, I've got to go see if we have any. I think we might only have limes...
