Bravo bloggers! I got great responses last week from all of you. Keep up the good work! (Hint, hint)
So not only do I love movies, but I love soundtracks. Here is a playlist from some of my favorite soundtracks:
You Don't Know Me by Jann Arden (My Best Friend's Wedding)
Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls (City of Angels)
Flashdance...What A Feeling by Irene Cara (Flashdance)
This Time by Jonathan Rhys Meyers (August Rush)
Maneater by Hall & Oates (Runaway Bride)
Kokomo by the Beach Boys (Cocktail - you know, when Tom was still hot?)
Hungry Eyes by Eric Carmen (Dirty Dancing)
Take My Breath Away by Berlin (Top Gun)
Must Have Been Love by Roxette (Pretty Woman)
Footloose by Kenny Loggins (Um, duh - Footloose)
Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now by Starship (Mannequin)
A Kiss to Build a Dream On by Louis Armstrong (Sleepless in Seattle)
Man of Constant Sorrow by The Soggy Bottom Boys (Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?)
Sweet Home Alabama by Lynard Skynard (Forrest Gump)
Rhapsody On A Theme Of Paganini (Somewhere in Time)
Obviously, many of these soundtracks have more than one great track. In fact, most of them I could listen to all the way through over and over.
So what's your all-time favorite soundtrack?

I just bought the Once CD last night. It won the Academy Award for Best Song, which usually makes my yawn, but their performance was amazing, and it's totally my kind of stuff! Maybe I'll bring it Friday so y'all can hear. Or even better, here's the YouTube link:

I like this one!!! Thanks!!
Hmmm... I love broadway soundtracks. I LOVE Camelot. And Funny Girl. And Music Man. Old school stuff. None of this new-fangled 'Wicked' crap for me.
I love the soundtrack from A Walk to Remember, wonderful... I have it if you want me to burn it for you. K and I love the footloose video that is great!
I'd say my fave is Dazed and Confused! Low Rider, and Dreamweaver etc!
I LOVE ILENE CARERA! (or whatever her name is) Louis Armstrong's song!!! Awesome list! These are all SO classic!
I think this is my favorite "Tunesday" list so far!
LOVE YOU

You've gotta check out the soundtrack to the movie At First Sight. City of Angels also has an amazing lineup! Just a couple that came to mind when I read your post. BTW...'peeped' your blog through Laurie's - it's fun.
