We just got back from a 10-day Disneyworld vacation. I have always been a Disney junkie, but this was our first trip with A.J. and a TOTALLY different experience. Dare I say, even better with her. There was a whole new level of magic. What a FANTASTIC vacation - it was truly all we could have hoped for. The months of saving and hours of planning totally payed off. We are already anxious to plan our next vacation. But as always, it is great to be home.
We were there on my birthday, which turned out great. Because this year Disney's promo is "get in free on your birthday" and we had already paid for our tickets, they gave me a $75 gift card, good to spend at any of the parks. Pretty generous, I thought. (That ALMOST payed for AJ's princess outfit - maybe not so generous after all...) But what I loved even more ('cuz I'm cheesy like that) is the Happy Birthday button they gave me to wear. Everyone that saw me wished me happy birthday. I realize that Disney employees are required to do that, but I chose to think that they were my friends and really wanted me to have a great day. I bet over a hundred people wished me happy birthday, and I have to say, it felt pretty darn good. By the end of the day, I was glowing. I realize this is childish, but you can be a child in Disneyworld - that's the beauty (especially on the day I turned a year older).

Ok, I may be lame. All right, I am. But, I looked at all the pictures. Great vacation!
The hydrangeas were pretty much the highlight for me.
Happy belated birthday!
Looks like an amazing trip and priceless memories.
I LOVE Disney! I looked at all the pics, too. :) What a fabulous vacation. We're hoping we get there next summer.
O.K. sooooo, I too watched your slideshow and I don't even know your family... but your trip looked amazing and your little girl is darling. We live in CA so we go to Disneyland monthly. Never can get enough of that Disney magic!
I clearly need to visit Disney with you as, having four boys, I have never seen this side of it!
Fabulous blog~
