Believe it or not, I have not fallen into quicksand or vanished in the Bermuda Triangle. Just been a bit sidetracked. Quick recap -
Christmas was great, hope yours was too! We got lots of fun stuff, but my favorite is this:
I've been wanting one for years. I'm sure I can attribute this to dozens of cookies I'll be making and therefore the extra ten pounds I'll probably put on this year.
Craig got Cougar gear, even some for AJ!
Christmas night, we went to dinner at Denny's, for the ultimate white trash Christmas experience. I love it!
We had a little New Year's party. AJ had a blast. She kept randomly running up to people in her giant party hat and blowing her noisemaker, shouting "THIS PARTY IS SO FUN!" Please also note the purple make-up all over their faces is not my doing.
I made this scrapbook page:
I made this frame to hang in my scrapbook room:
I decided that each month I am going to rotate a new page into it:
I made another wedding autograph book for one of Candace's photography clients:
Planned a year's worth of activities for my Activity Day Girls (church calling):
Read "Enna Burning":
(It was good, but not as good as "The Goose Girl", a must read if you haven't already.)
Watched Masterpiece Theatre's Jane Eyre:
Ah, I love you Edward!
Finished, "Eclipse", the last book in the "Twilight" series:
Ah, I love you Edward!
Watched "The Painted Veil":
Ah, I love you Edward! Hm, I can't put my finger on it, but I feel like there's some kind of pattern developing...
Finally got my buns back to the gym:
(This is not what I look like.) In fact...
This is what I look like after I've worked out. I don't know what the deal is, but when I even start to break a sweat, my face gets so red it looks like I'm ready to explode. And I feel fine, really good actually, but I think the people around me look at me like "Wow, we've been going for five minutes and she's having a heart attack. That's sad. I'm going to keep working out so I'm not ever as out-of-shape as her." At least I'm motivating others, I guess.
I sold the "Pride and Prejudice" push pins from my Etsy store (yay!) and made two new sets to list:
Grey's Anatomy
and Somewhere In Time
Does anyone else remember this movie - one of my favorites! So romantic!!!
So that's a taste of what I've been up to. And in true "back to blogging" fashion, since it's Tuesday, here's my Tunesday Playlist.
Coming to you as part II of my "Melting Pot" Playlist:
"The Great Escape" by Boys Like Girls
"Fighter" by Christina Aguilara
"Miss Murder" by AFI
"Here It Goes Again" by OK GO
"Take Me out" by Franz Ferdinand

Wow! That was great! Isn't the Painted Veil GREAT!? I didn't know you had seen it. We must discuss. I really think I need to buy it. I still can't stop thinking about it. And the Cholera.
AJ is SO stinkin' cute! Love the pic of her and Craig. Your page and your wedding book rock. You are amazing.
Cameron told me Sunday that Jane is in your Activity Girl's now. Is it tomorrow? When?
You've been BUSY! I love that movie Somewhere in time. It was a fav of mine growing up.
Busy, busy! Love it! I do love Somewhere in Time. Classic!
I need to pick your brain about Activity Days. I need some ideas (I've got Jan. and Feb. covered). I'm so impressed that you have the entire year planned!
I loved your re-cap post! You've done so many great things!
I love your book, frame, push pins... you are one talented chiquita.
LOve the mixer- I love mine, but you are right, it's too easy to make cookies, so let my belly be an example to you to make some more healthy things with yours! :)
Okay, yes. I am happy now that you've updated your blog. I'm very serious about my blog-checking. Very.
You have been busy girl! And I thought just keeping my children alive was enough! You amaze me.

Mmmm....is Enna Burning your copy? Can I borrow it? I've been wanting to read it for a long time. I'm glad you're alive. I was beginning to wonder if you'd been shot by Santa.
Sorry, Rebecca, no. I just had it from the library. But I turned it back in yesterday. I bet if you jump on it you can get it.
Holy crap - you're one busy girl. How did you cram all of that in just a couple of weeks?! I'm so glad you're back to blogging - the blog world has been boring without you!
Umm... Edward.
Love it!!!
So what you think you have been busy or something? K you totally did not tell me you saw the painted veil, we have to talk about that... pronto! Member I was telling you about that forever ago anyways.... Edward is a great name isn't it.
By the way you were totally cracking me up. I love the frame, and AJ's makeup and that picture of that monkey makes me laugh!
I wish I could scrapbook half as good as you! Nice blog
Yay! Glad you're back!
